Sometimes it’s hard to admit that we need help or advice, or even prayer. It means humbling ourselves. Jesus knew all about humility, for leaving heaven’s throne room and coming to earth was no small task.
Paul challenged us, “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Gal. 6:2). You see, we were not intended to hold on to our problems, but to share them with others, especially God.
Lastly, there is a difference between being a complainer and a sharer of struggles. Complainers often are prideful and desire to be heard more than wanting to find answers. Sharers make themselves accountable to others, and in doing so, finding Jesus in their midst---offering solutions. For it is said, “"For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."” (Matt. 18:20).
