It is apparent that there is a war on every hand, turmoil within our country, drought, fires, and famine spreading, and disparagement among the peoples, including the people of God.
As I have been recuperating from a serious car accident, I could not foresee that as I took a sabbatical from blog writing that it would also be a time necessary for physical healing, as I made that decision prior to the accident. As you know, I decided to write my latest book, The Weapons Of Our Warfare during that time, and I did; however, it wasn’t the easiest tasks that I had committed myself to.
As I mention in the book,
“I arise every day with a reminder that I am not physically healed, as of yet. Pain greets me in the morning, follows me around all day and then says goodnight to me when I lay my head on the pillow for rest. But can I tell you this, while I am writing this book, during the process, I sense such an anointing upon me, that I do not sense pain while I am typing away His Truth on each page, praying that you will get hold of it and run with it, once you read this book.” (Excerpt from “The Weapons Of Our Warfare.”)
Why Do Some Persevere While Others Fail?
What causes some people to persevere and others to abandon the call of God on their lives? I have often asked this same question through the years, but this side of finishing my latest project, I can truthfully say that I understand it all the more.
We find the writer of Hebrews declaring,
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…” (Hebrews 12: 1- 2a) NKJV
The very truth of the matter is that a “faith runner” doesn’t throw in the towel when trouble arises. They cling to their faith, their passion, their call all the more, declaring that “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us…,” ( Eph. 3:20) NAS
Faith Can’t Be Seen Without Works
You see, that power working within us is not a conjured up, hyped up or made up fixation of a delirious mind. That power, which is the faith given to all believers, sustains us in times of turmoil, trials and tribulation! James 2:17 says that “Faith without works is dead.”
So, it takes our faith in action for others to primarily ascertain what the power of faith can accomplish. That same power, the power of our faith allows us to have the endurance that Paul spoke about when running the race of faith. Without it, we will stop running, stop pressing onward and cease in our calling or passion for carrying the cross of Christ. In doing so, we have prevented others from catching the fire that burns within our hearts, bringing about un-abandoned submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ!
Are You A Quitter?
Have you given up in your season of trouble? Take courage dear one, for Jesus said,
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16: 33) NKJV

Hi Ministry Friends,
I am eager to share with you that “The Weapons of Our Warfare” is now on sale at Kindle Books and will also be available in paperback in about a week from now!
Many of you are unaware, that from the moment I set out to write this book, the first week of June, I have encountered plenty of obstacles, including being involved in a serious car accident on June 7th. I am still on the mend, as one of my prayer warriors said to me, “The enemy tried to snuff you out!”
I believe the message in this book is one that every Christian should seriously take to heart. After teaching on spiritual warfare for over 25 years, I was asked by many of my readers and conference attendees if I had this very teaching in writing. I set out determined, regardless of the ‘thorn in my side’ to accomplish that which I promised you last month, and that was to have a book in your hand that would help you navigate through spiritual conflicts successfully!
I am so very grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for teaching me such valuable strategies of combat when it comes to fighting a very real enemy, Satan.
Thank you for your prayers and support through the writing of this book. I sensed a very heavy anointing upon me during the entire time, and I know that you will receive valuable information not written in any other book or spiritual warfare manual available today!
