“…And because of the abundance of evil, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew
I had the most unbelievable day and I sense that I must share it with my readership. I was coming back home from being in town and on the highway a man pulls off his truck abruptly in the median and reaches in and throws out a 14-15 year old girl...like she is trash. I pulled off in front of them, (a bad spot indeed), and opened my car door to see if the girl was alright.
As I hollered back to check on her, she said that she was fine, as she cried out to me.
I got a good look at the young man and he glared at me with all the hate of the devil and I looked back at him like, "Whatcha going to do?"
He backed down instantly, almost coward-like, and got back in his truck, and then took off. As I called the police, I pulled to the right of the highway, turned on my flashing lights and parked.
As I looked back in my rearview mirror, I saw yet another young girl with her now. I supposed she was a friend of the
girl. I told the police where I was located and that I was circling back around to check on them. By the time I arrived, they were walking on the side of the highway towards me out of town where I live. I pulled over with the police still on the phone and the young girl insisted she was alright, however she was holding her arm as if in pain. She said that her dad was coming to get her.
I inquired, “Who was the man who threw her out on the highway so violently?
She replied that it was her friend.
I questioned, "Friend?"
She insisted "Not anymore."
I offered to take the girls home or wherever, even to get medical attention but she refused and also refused to
press charges. So there was nothing the police could do. Giving the girl my ministry card, I told her that if she ever needed anything, to call me, and I meant it.
I just keep reliving this scene in my mind. This week I found a dog that was thrown away, and today I saw someone
throw a girl away like trash violently. It was sickening to my stomach. I tell you....This generation needs a WAKE UP CALL---A COME TO JESUS MEETING! God help us!
I ask you beloved, “Is it possible for us to hold back the evil, the darkness of this day?” My resolute answer is “YES!!”
However, it won’t come easy saints. We must pray, and be willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to be filled with the glory of the light of God, so that the darkness and evil around us will once again abate. It is possible, but it won’t come without commitment.
Are you willing? This could be the VERY GENERATION that sees the greatest revival ever sweep the globe prior to
Jesus’ return!! Are you doing your part as a kingdom citizen to make that happen?
