I have been talking to a lot of people lately who seem to be a bit fearful of the last days. This is especially in regard to the mark of the beast and being able to obtain food and medical needs.
Sometime, a while back, I was sitting in my living room and had just finished reading the Bible that morning and I was meditating on a certain verse when I had a vision.
“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4).
While meditating on this Word, the vision that I saw was one of me, my husband and others sitting at our kitchen table. I could only see our hands joined at the table. On the table were empty plates, and no food whatsoever was in sight. I remember sensing that we were entering the last days. As we prayed, we thanked God for the food and when we opened our eyes, miraculously, food appeared on our plates.
I am sharing this as so many are worried about whether God can or will take care of them when hard days ahead come…. and friends, they will be coming.
I was so encouraged to have my Heavenly Father impress upon me that I will not be in need, nor will I be begging for bread. If He must supply my needs miraculously every single day, He will.
I cannot explain the deep sense of peace and comfort that washed over me that day or the days since that vision came to me. We serve a loving, caring and gracious God who not only died for us, while we were in our sins, but continues to supply our every need in and through His Son, if only we believe.
Our problem today is that the church of America has lacked very little, and thus, learning to believe with the faith of our forefathers, may be a foreign concept. Let us start now by practicing our faith, standing on our faith, walking through our faith and believing God for ALL things. It is not too early to start trusting, dear ones.
In these last days, we must learn to be led by the Spirit, for if we are incapable of hearing from God, we will be at a great loss! This is why you often see me encourage the body of believers to be in pursuit of faith. I am very concerned that we have neglected the basic teaching in the church that God is our Provider.
I am praying that when times of immense testing come that your faith will not fail. How I long that I could stand before each of you and testify of the many times that God has provided miraculously in my life. I could probably write a book about it, but the best book about God’s willingness and ability to provide has already been written---the BIBLE!
I am not any more special to God than you are. What He has and will continue to do for me, He desires also to do for you! Let me encourage you, in closing, to draw near to God beloved. By doing so we begin to realize the abundance of Heavenly resources that are available to us, through faith and faith alone.
