Q: Is it true you have led worship since you were in your teens?
A:
Yes, it started by leading other kids in songs on the bus to church. We even had a microphone so everyone could hear me. Back then, there were no seat belt requirements. I just stood upfront and we sang our way to church every Sunday morning.

Q: How many songs have you written?
A:
Well if we count my first song at the age of five, I guess something like 65 songs or so... However, I started writing songs about and to Jesus at the age of sixteen and I have never stopped.

Q: Why is it that your music is so different and so non-mainstream?
A: My music is simply God's words back to Him in prayer. Oh, I write some ballads and such, but my music is birthed from reading His Word and spending time on my face before Him. No two artist are alike. I have been called a
Modern Day Psalmist. To worship God in Spirit and Truth is all that matters. I believe now, more than ever, that God is drawing His people back to true worship. I love living in these days!

Q: How far will you travel to go minister?
A:
Anywhere God calls me to. I have been coast to coast and to some other countries. I believe we are commissioned to go to Judea, Samaria, and then the uttermost ends of the earth. Recently, my heart has said, the USA is my uttermost end of the earth. We need JESUS so desperately here!

Q: Has it been laborious to write so many songs?
A:
No, usually my songs come to me in the middle of the night, much like Paul and Silas in prison. I have never been in prison, but I have had trials and tribulations and I realize when I look back, that is when my writing is most active. God gives me a song in just a few minutes. Some of them are so prolific and powerful, I know they are gifts from my FATHER. Simply said, "I'm really not that good."

Q: Have you ever collaborated with other artist?
A:
Hey, now there is something I have always wanted to do!

Q: I heard that you are also a speaker and have spoken at conferences. Is that true?
A:
Yes, I have spoken for many women's retreats, conferences and such through the years. Somehow they always find a way to get me to sing too! LOL. However, my first love is worshipping Jesus in a melodious setting.

Q: Did you have formal training in leading worship?
A:
Yes and no. Back in the day when I went to college, there were no female worship leaders, so you were usally a vocal major etc. My professor suggested I go on and let God be my teacher because everytime he tried to teach me something vocally he said,   " Jane, it takes away God's glory in your life." I thought afterward, "Well, what a nice way of telling me I'm untrainable." Through the years I have sat under some awesome men and women of God who have inspired, sharpened and challenged me in worship. We all need that!

Q: So, did you ever think you would be performing as a Christian Artist when you were young?
A:
Well, no. In fact, I still don't perform. I look at that term as worldly. God has called me as a worshipper, not a performer.

Q: Are you looking for anyone new in your band for back up or instrumentalist?
A:
Actually, I am always looking for fresh artists who walk in revelation and want to move into a deeper realm of worship. If your interested, send us a website link of your work via email and our agent will contact you if it is a good match! We are in West Texas and rehearsals are regular. So if you can't commute, please don't send information. God will open a door for you just where you are!

Q: How long do you think you will continue to lead others in worship?
A:
Well let me see, (checking pulse) ....  as long as I have a heartbeat! Worship isn't always singing you know. Worship is a lifestyle. I worship God in my daily life by caring for my family, taking care of the Body of Christ, making myself accountable to others and winning souls at every opportunity!

Q
: Are you in connection or under the covering of any other ministry?
A: Yes indeed. We truly believe that God calls each of us to a ministry of accountability. We are in submission to the board members of Mercy Gate Ministries, who are our accountability partners in this ministry. If you need more information regarding this please email us and we will send you contact information.

Q: What do you do for fun?
A: Read, Travel, See things I never have, love on my family, play with my dog, sing, plant flowers, write, talk to my friends on FB...etc...
