Jane Morin is a Christian
songwriter/singer, worship leader/conference speaker and freelance writer. She has traveled
coast to coast and internationally spreading the Word of God through music and
conferences. Jane started her music career from humble beginnings in Norman,
OK. As a very young Christian, at the age of sixteen she sang to an
assembly of over 20,000 people at Falls Creek Christian Camp. From there she
was the featured artist at youth rallies, and went on to college to sing with the
group “Shining Light” that toured and ministered during the weekends.
Morin says, "My life was a real mess until Jesus got a'hold of me! Don't feel bad though,
even Moses was a basket case at one time!" Morin was born in Brooklyn, NYand raised in Choctaw, OK. Being raised in an abusive home, she understands the downfalls and lack of privilege that such an environment can render. She was molested by a trusted uncle at the age of five. Just a few weeks short of being sixteen, her oldest brother was killed in a car accident. Three days later her mother shot her father and then herself. Her mother died, and her father lived, though she had no relationship with him until a few years before his death in 2005. She married young and that marriage ended after nineteen years of terrible controlling and physical abuse. The Texas Council Against Violence has made her an honorary lifetime member for her work on the local Crisis Team regarding women who have been abused. God has used that in her life to counsel abused women and help them realize that anyone can start over again with the grace of God. She is not too proud to admit that she was in counseling for three years following and in 2002 married the love of her life Gaetan Morin. Together they have a burden to share her story and her ministry worldwide, and they have had opportunity to do just that. Morin says, “It is my lifetime of challenges and overcoming them that has made me the person that I am today. I can walk in freedom, in forgiveness and teach others that no matter what life hands you, the "Giver of Life” will never leave you nor forsake you!”
Morin is co-founder of Mercy Gate Ministries and has traveled and ministered coast to coast as well as Africa, Guatemala and most recently Israel. She has led worship for many conferences and revivals, camps, ralleys, praise conferences and has been a special guest on Christian TV and Radio programs, as well as authored a devotional book called, “Forty Days of Life Changing Devotions.”
Morin currently resides in West Texas and continues to travel worldwide to get her message out in song and through revivals, concerts and women’s conferences. When she is not traveling, she is serving in her local church.

Many have said there is a new kind of worship sweeping over our land. I disagree. I simply believe God’s anointing is reaching through the hardened hearts of His people and returning back into His Church! These are exciting days--- days of TRUE worship.
